# Deliver to cloud storage

Connect cloud storage, choose output and watch folders, and use a connection for job delivery.

Click your name or account icon at the bottom of the sidebar and open **Cloud Storage** in the account area.

## Connect an account

Expand the service you want to use. You can add more than one connection and give each a name that identifies its account or destination.

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="Amazon S3" %}

1. Click **Add Amazon S3 Account**.
2. Enter a **Name** for this connection.
3. Enter the storage account's **Access Key ID**, **Secret Access Key**, and **Bucket Name**.
4. Set any [folder options](#choose-folders), then click **Submit**.
   {% endtab %}

{% tab title="Dropbox" %}

1. Click **Add Dropbox Account**.
2. Enter a **Name** and any [folder options](#choose-folders).
3. Click **Submit** to continue to Dropbox.
4. Authorize access using the Dropbox account you want to connect. You return to **Cloud Storage** when authorization completes.
   {% endtab %}

{% tab title="Google Drive" %}

1. Click **Add Google Drive Account**.
2. Enter a **Name** and any [folder options](#choose-folders).
3. Click **Submit** to continue to Google Drive.
4. Authorize access using the Google account you want to connect. You return to **Cloud Storage** when authorization completes.
   {% endtab %}
   {% endtabs %}

The connection appears under its service. If its name shows **(checking connection)**, wait for the check to finish. Connections marked **(not ready)** or **(access revoked)** cannot be selected for job delivery.

## Choose folders

| Field                          | What to enter                                                                                                                                            |
| ------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Output folder** | The top-level folder for rendered outputs in this account. Leave it empty when connecting to use the account's top level. |
| **Watch folder**, when offered | An existing folder for scene files you want uploaded automatically. It must be accessible in the connected account and different from the output folder. |

A watch folder is optional for output delivery. If there is a problem with the watch folder, the connection shows a warning. Check the folder's location and whether the connected account can access it, then edit the connection to correct it.

## Deliver a job to this account

When [creating a job](/docs/web-app/create-a-job.md):

1. In **Network Settings**, open **Approval & Downloads**.
2. Enable **Auto Approve**, then **Auto download**.
3. Leave **Download locally** off for cloud-only delivery. To receive a local copy too, enable it and choose the [local method](/docs/web-app/download-frames.md#set-up-automatic-local-downloads) first.
4. Choose the connection under **Remote storage**. Enabling **Download locally** clears this choice, so select the cloud connection after configuring local delivery.
5. Complete the other job settings and create the job.

Only ready connections appear under **Remote storage**, and each job can use one cloud destination. **Manage storage connections** opens the account's **Cloud Storage** page.

## Edit or disconnect

Click the pencil beside a connection to change its **Name**, **Output folder**, or **Watch folder**, then click **Save**.

{% hint style="info" %}
Once you save an output or watch folder, you can change its location but cannot leave that field empty.
{% endhint %}

To remove a connection, click its disconnect button, check the name in the confirmation, and click **Disconnect**.

If the services list fails to load, use **Try Again**. If the page says no cloud storage services are available for the account, use [local downloads](/docs/web-app/download-frames.md) instead.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://know.rendernetwork.com/docs/web-app/cloud-storage.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
